Saba & Fawaz: 2

Again this is not a true story and I hope you guys like this next chapter as much as the first one, if not more.

I wanted to disappear or to transport through the phone and pop up where ever Fawaz was at the moment. I tried to relax and think about what I should do, and more importantly what I should say.

Saba: Fawaz, I love you too. I love you so much it hurts, This is really hard for me and it's not how I wanted it to end, hell I didn't even want it to end! You are the best thing to happen to me and my best friend and my future husband. I never thought my mom would do this to me but for your own good this HAS to end. The last thing I want is for my dad to hurt you in anyway...if you love me you'll wait and you'll be there for me when the time is right. I love you more than my life itself, believe me this is going to be the hardest thing for me to do...

I'll love you forever and ever
x

I watched my thumb shake as I moved it to press on the "send" button.
I couldn't do it, this was too hard I just cant..

You're probably wondering how did this all start? Well this is their story...

Murooj: Sabouy please 3ade tanzileen el ma6bakh tyeebeen el marshmallows?

Saba: La a7ad yanzel ma3ay mara7 arou7 brou7y

Murooj: Shda3wa! bes nezlay yeeby mu awal mara tyeen baitna!

Ghalia: khala9 ana ayee weyach yal dalou3a goumay yallah

Me, Ghalia and Murooj have been best friends for 4 years now even though we aren't that close I consider them my best friends and we spend almost every free time we have together. Ghalia and I got off Muroojs' bed and headed down to the kitchen, we wanted to get marshmallows so that we could play chubby bunny.

Ghalia: waay bait'hum laish kela chethy thalma!

Saba: Eeh! wtgoulonly laish tkhafeen tanzileen el ma6bakh brou7ch, al7een 3araftay laish?!

We tip toed into the kitchen hoping we wouldn't wake up Muroojs' dog, she had a chihuahua and it was the loudest, most annoying animal to ever set foot on this earth.

Ghalia: wain el marshmellows?

Saba: a3teqed bl kabat 3ala yemeenech ba6lay o shoufay

Just as Ghalia was about to open the cupboard the room lights switched on. Startled, Ghalia and I turned around in fear to see who it was.

Abdullah: banat?

Me and Ghalia looked at each other and burst out laughing, it was Muroojs' brother Abdullah. Abdullah was 18 years old and a freshmen in University.

Saba: h-hala Abdullah, khra3tna taby shay?

Abdullah: la bes yay ashrab may, entaw shemga3dkum lail7een?

Ghalia: e7na benaam eb baitkum

Abdullah: aha okay 3ayal have fun banat o la tez3jouna eb gargatkum

Ghalia: "tez3jouna" mnu "entaw" fee a7ad ghairik hnee?

Abdullah: Eeh rfeejy ba3ad benaam 3endena bes latkhafoun e7na bldewaneya o bnagfil 3ailaina elbab fa ekhthaw ra7atkum.

Saba: oh enzain 3ayal mashkour o you too have fun.

Just as I was about to leave Ghalia grabbed my arm.

"nesaina nakheth el marshmallows yal bgara!" she whispered loudly in my ear

Saba: ohh 9a7! yallah ekhtheehum 3ashan enrou7

She found the marshmellows and we walked back to Muroojs' room, on our way there "we" met for the first time. On my way to Muroojs' room I guess you could say fate brought us together, it was the first time I'd ever seen him and the same goes for him, he'd never seen or heard of me before that night. It was like a dream come true, sort of like a movie where you see stars and hear music playing in the background but there was no one there playing it. Just like that, with one look and one second of eye contact, I felt it and so did he.

"Wayy! bismellah! ent mnu?!" Ghalia screamed, already trying to recover from Abdullah startling us in the kitchen.

I looked ahead and saw a tall figure, a fit guy standing infront of me. Though I couldnt see his face that clearly because of how dark it had been I could tell he was handsome.

Fawaz: mnu? ana?

Ghalia: La ga3da akalim el6oufa ely 6la3tly methl yenee! akeed enta ba3ad mnu?!

You could always count on Ghalia to speak her mind, I guess you could say "elsanha 6weel".

Fawaz: ana Fawaz rfeej 3abood

from the moment I heard him say his name, the butterflies in my stomach went crazy, suddenly I didn't want to play chubby bunny anymore, suddenly I didn't want to go back to Murooj's room for the sleepover, all I wanted to do was sit here and hear him speak even if it wasn't to me.

Ghalia: ah okay ya3ne mu 7aramy, ashwa. Enzain ana Ghalia o hathy rfeejty Saba.

Fawaz: Nice meeting you two..

The three of us stood around awkwardly until I finally broke the silence

"Ehm...Ghalouy lazem ne93ad foug my9eer enkoun ta7at etha fee 9bayan" I whispered in Ghalias ear.

Ghalia: ay 9bayan? mafee 9bayan

Fawaz: e7m..ana barou7 eldewaneya ma3alsalama.

Ghalia & I: okay bye

I pushed Ghalia up the stairs infront of me. One, for talking to the guy for so long and two, for embarassing him!

Ghalia: haay latdizeen!

Saba: emshay bes emshay 7emday rabech ma talaitich min athounich, zain chethy? fashaltay el walad maskeen!

Ghalia: shda3wa fashalta bes gelt mafy 9bayan mu shay yfashel, w entay shfeech 3ala el walad etdaf3een 3ana? latkhaleeny ashik feech 3ad

She laughed it off as if it were nothing, but she didn't know, she had no idea what I just felt. We walked into the room with a bag of marshmallows.

Murooj: ma baghaitaw! shfeekum 6awaltaw hal kither?

Ghalia: shefna ukouch

Saba: o rfeeja Fawaz

Murooj: 9ej? Fawaz hnee? wansa shraykum nanzil 3enduhum enshouf filim?

Saba: Entay yanaitay 9a7? 9bayan enrou7 neg3ad ma3ahum w enshouf filim? agoul khalich 3ala chubby bunny a7san o t3awithay min eblees

We all laughed at Murooj, but something in me wasn't comfortable by how happy she had gotten when she heard that Fawaz was here, I stared at her face to examine it and see if she would give off any hints about her feelings towards Fawaz. His name left our conversation as easily as it came in. The girls may have forgotten about Fawaz but one thing was for sure, my heart sure hadn't.

After that moment my life changed, drastically.
